Management

The process of planning, organizing, leading, and evaluating a business's human, financial, and physical resources so it meets its goals and objectives.

Management is a process, not a rank. It runs at every level of a business, from executive leaders to shift supervisors, and in a very small business one person performs all four functions in a single day.

Plan, Organize, Lead, Evaluate spells POLE, the four poles a manager works between.
