Deliberative Process
A structured approach to defining a decision, developing alternatives, setting criteria, and evaluating options before choosing.
A deliberative process does not remove uncertainty. What it does is make the trade-offs explicit and record which risks the decision accepted, so a bad outcome can later be told apart from a bad decision.
