A structured tool used to analyze a situation systematically and guide strategic decision making.
Strategic frameworks let a business evaluate the relevant internal and external variables of an option against its long-term goals and strategy. Porter's Five Forces and SWOT analysis are the two the course tests.

- Deliberative Process
- A strategic framework is an analysis tool used inside a decision; the deliberative process is the sequence of steps the whole decision follows.
