Criteria
The standards used to evaluate and compare possible options.
In a deliberative process, criteria are set at step three, before evaluation begins. They may be quantifiable, such as return on investment, or intangible, such as fit with the mission.
Often confused with
- Decision-Making Criteria
- The two are used interchangeably in this course; decision-making criteria is simply the fuller name for criteria applied to a business decision.
