Consensus Principle
People are influenced by the actions and opinions of others and tend to follow social group norms.
Often confused with
- Scarcity Principle
- Scarcity says few are available; consensus says many other people already chose it.
- Unity Principle
- Consensus is following what many people do; unity is being swayed by a group you already belong to.
