The specific actions or approaches used to advance a broader strategy.
Strategy guides decision making and the development of tactics, and the relationship runs one way. A tactic that cannot be traced back to the strategy is activity rather than execution.

- Tactics are narrower and shorter term than strategy: strategy names the destination, tactics are the moves toward it.
