Property Tax
A tax charged on the assessed value of property somebody owns, which covers houses and land everywhere and vehicles in some states. Bills may arrive annually, twice a year, or monthly.

- Sales Tax
- Property tax is charged yearly on what you own; sales tax is charged once on what you buy.
