Projected Income Statement

An income statement built forward from predictions rather than backward from recorded data.

It does three jobs: lays out expected costs before they arrive, identifies funding needs, and shows how much cash must be ready to meet obligations. Future revenue comes from planned pricing and market research; future costs come from the planned production behind that volume.
