2026-27 Pilot · Applications Open

Bring MAMAKO to your classroom for the 2026-27 school year.

We're partnering with a small cohort of international and bilingual schools for our pilot launching at the beginning of the 2026-2027 academic year. Selected partner schools get full MAMAKO access for a limited trial period.

Anyone connected to a school can apply.

If you're connected to an international or bilingual school in any capacity, you can apply on its behalf. Whether you are a Head of School, Curriculum Director, EAL Coordinator, Department Head, classroom teacher, or parent, we'd love to review your application. We'll work with you to bring the right people into the conversation. You don't have to be the decision-maker to start it.

What partner schools get.

Full MAMAKO access.

Pilot schools run MAMAKO without restriction. Live captions, translation, vocabulary capture, and post-class study materials, in every participating classroom, for the full trial period.

Built-with input.

Pilot feedback shapes the product. What works for your classrooms, what doesn't, what teachers ask for — all of it goes into product decisions before MAMAKO launches publicly.

First access to school pricing.

Pilot schools get first priority and special pricing when converting to a school-wide deployment when MAMAKO launches officially.

What we ask from partner schools.

Pilot schools get to use MAMAKO at no cost during the trial period. The reciprocal ask is small and clear: a one-hour onboarding for the teachers who'll use it, consistent feedback throughout the trial period, and a willingness to write a review about MAMAKO after the trial period concludes and be cited as a partner school in conversations with future applicants.

Who built MAMAKO?

Built from inside the classroom.

I'm Logan Shaffer — Head of English at TEDA International School, an EARCOS-member international school in Tianjin, China. Previously, I taught in Hsinchu, Taiwan and Seoul, Korea, after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education with an M.S.Ed in TESOL.

I started MAMAKO because of a repeated moment: an EAL student stalls on a single word, the lesson keeps going, and the next twenty minutes of class are lost to them. My mission with MAMAKO is to make sure other teachers don't have to keep watching that happen.

I'm building MAMAKO while I'm teaching full-time, which means the product gets stress-tested in real classrooms before launching.

If you work at an international or bilingual school, I'd love to talk.
